Our goal is to provide our subscribers with a vibrant mix of interviews, articles, columns, commentary, editorials, and book reviews usually not found in the mainstream news media.
We have covered, and will continue to cover some of the most challenging issues of our times, including: the widening gap between rich and poor, child poverty, media concentration and environmental degradation.
We’re also interested in how the Internet has changed social communication, art, and politics, as the Net has become a global village or global market.

As a journal of faith we’re ecumenical in outlook. Although we follow the Catholic Church closely, we’re interested in matters connected to other Christian churches and faiths. Whatever issues we address, we’ll be searching and broadening our scope, unwilling to settle for easy answers.
The challenges for those working for social justice are enormous. We want to provide informed context and fresh analysis. But we can’t do it all. That’s why we’ll be providing links to other like-minded groups and magazines. As we do this, we’ll await your comments, suggestions, and ideas.
